I ask this in part because of my boredom and in part of curiousity. Well, most Sci-fi tales are about dystopias, does anyone think an utopia is possible like in Star Trek?
Unlikely because if it were, now would be the "post atomic horror," after ww3 when people were trying to rebuild their lives under a despot named Colonel Green.
It may be the case that we end up in a sort of self-fulfilling utopia, because ultimately that would be the only type of utopia which would actually last.
