Signs and Symptoms:

-Reoccurring cases of atypical pneumonia that require not only 6 weeks of Levaquin 1000mg (sp?) and Azithromician (sp?) 750 mg taken simultaenously, but also require varying dosages of Prednisone (sp?) as well in order to clear. Frequently, I receive intramuscular injections of antibiotics twice a week during these periods.

- Occasional bouts with something called Aspergillus fumigatus that causes persistent coughing, moderate chest pain, and breathlessness. These symptoms also do not respond to antibiotics.

I used to think I just had a string of bad luck, but I have been consistently getting each of these for at least 10 years, every year around winter. I tend to think it might be something genetic because it's really the only thing that makes sense, but I did some research and none of it seemed to fit completely. Any help would be appreciated.
Apparently Aspergillus is a fungus if that helps...
