I have a Sony Ericsson phone J100i, it says "subsidy pwd"?

Is there a specail password you need to enter? I've rang the optus shop (since i'm with optus) and they never heard of it before, then i tried rining Song Ericsson but they said it was the network?? The phone is locked to the optus network but i am with optus sho how does that work??
