Fashion Institute of Technology..anyone?

ok so ive been wanting to become a fashion designer since i was 5, im 15 now.. anyways i heard about FIT last year. i did some research on it. it sounds like a pretty good school for people who want to become fashion designers. i would like to hear what people that have gone there have to say.. how was you experience? did you learn a lot? did it help you get a great fashion job..thanks
also how much does it cost yearly??
