That depends on what state or country you are in. You have to look up license laws in your area.

18 here in denmark. if its that what you are asking

also u need a driver license.

Although i've tried driving a car when i was about 12, on a old Fiat Uno hehe

17 here in the UK, after you've passed your theory and driving tests.
however i think soon they may be raising the age to 18. if they havent already. ahhhhhhh sucks to be me.

You can drive a car legally on private property at the age of three.
Now public roads are a different matter.
I have seen it as low as 14, but most states and countries have upped the limit from back then when I had to walk up hill three miles to school and another three miles up hill back home.
