What impact will Joe Gibbs retirement have on his NASCAR Sprint Cup team?

Now that Joe Gibbs has retired from the Redskins organization.. Will he go back and have a big part in his race team again? or will he sit back and let JD Gibbs keep doing like he's been doing...

If hes not working @ the race shop.. What is Coach Gibbs going to be doing?!

JD is good at handling the day to day operations of the team but Joe is the voice of reason behind it all. He will not have to be as involved with running JGR as he was before he went back to coaching the Redskins. It will be good for him to be able to be at the track for races and to handle conflicts with his drivers this year. With the strongest personalities in the business driving his cars he will be needed to keep them in line and working together as much as possible. It will also help to have him around for promotional obligations with Toyota.
