Verizon phone troubleshooting...?

Ok so i have the verizon alias and i was on the phone with my friend when all of a sudden my phone shuts off. Then i turn it on and the vcast bar says loading... then shuts off then loading... then shuts off and its been happening for an hour. How do I fix it without having to go to the Verizon store?
also... i have 4 bars of battery

& the vcast is the starting pic... like it sponsors it or something. but i don't use it.

There doesn't seem to be much you can do, but it seems like VCast is set to come up automatically, so maybe if there was a way to shut off VCast, maybe you can fully boot your phone, but you usually can't do anything on the phone to the phone is fully booted anyway

Also, just to rule it out, try plugging it in before turning on the phone, it could be that the battery is just dead, and it only has a enough power to start up for a short time
