the bible contradicts its self a lot and as it was written so long ago it could be said that it was written to make one think that prophecies had been told and fulfilled when in fact prophecy may have been written after the fulfilment- after the event had actually happened.
How tho would that explain how the bible appears to show prophecies written long ago being fulfilled in this day and age or to still be fulfilled?
is there a very clever psychology that would allow prophecies written long ago to appear to be fulfilled so long after the prediction?

e.g.NWT revelations 13 :16 '' and it puts under compulsion all persons, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the slaves, that they should give these a mark in their right hand or upon their forehead, ''17'' and that nobody might be able to buy or sell except a person having the mark, the name of the wild beast or the number or its name''

interpretations of this are such like: the wild beast being the government (which would be super power one world wide government)would do away with cash and make it compulsory to get chipped in the hand or such like and this would become the way of buying and selling(the chip holding all financial information etc)

I would see it as - people paying for stuff with money (using their hands) and the money bearing the name of the ruler /government etc) which would be fairly easy to predict . do people read way to far into things trying to get ultimate proof for things written in the bible ?

I just don't get how people work out prophecies? .
