i have a 2003 c230 Mercedes Benz, what can i do to beef up my car?

i asked a friend how i could beef up my car and they said cat back exhaust, down pipe, and tune. will this work and my car and how much would it be? any better ideas?

I wouldnt suggest touching the engine of a benz. It's perfect the way it is already. Beef up the look since it's almost a 6 year old car. Get AMG body kits, muffler and a decent pair of AMG 18"s. Get a nice sound system also. Just don't touch the engine.

For the money a super chip is the best upgrade it will change ur tuning to best power instead of emissions. wrap a little bit of insulation around your air intake temp sensor so it will give u a richer mixture is another cheep upgrade. After the chip i would do a k&n filter without replacing the intake and then a couplete exaust upgrade.

The best idea would be to get a better engine. I would highly recommend Edelbrock for engines. You can get a 602 horsepower engine for 11 grand. You can get a 420 horsepower engine for about 6 grand.
