I'm thinking about getting boots for my Morgan mare (for her front legs). I'm just unsure of whether to get open front or closed front boots...I'm not really sure of the differences between them. Obviously the front is open or closed! But I mean, I don't know the differences in the purpose they serve...is one better for jumping / trails or what?
I just ride my horse for pleasure...trails, small jumps, just random riding around. No showing or anything competitive. So what would you recommend I get for her?
Any recommendations are welcome...doesn't have to be just about boots. For example, I kind of want to get a running martingale...but do I really need to bother? Like my horse is really good...I don't even own a crop for her!
