Is Gossip Girl a good show for young teens and pre-teens?

NO.

There's too much sex, backstabbing, dishonesty, etc that don't really teach anything to young teenagers except the glamor of being popular and reach and beautiful, and they perpetuate the idea that it's "in" to be mean.

I've watched it, and the only thing I like about the show are the clothes. It doesn't teach any values to teens, it sensationalizes issues that should be taught with care and thought.

No.. definately not, I am a young teen and I watch it anyway. I just try not to get swayed by their way of thinking.
It's about sex, drugs, boys, fast cars, money and being a b!tch basically.
