Can I use a DVR & a blu-ray player with a HTIB with just one audio input by

connecting the DVR to the player? I am thinking of buying an HTIB that has just one audio input. I have a DVR/dish receiver and someday I will probably want a blu-ray player. Is there any way to pass the audio signal through a blu-ray player so I can still use both the DVR and the blu-ray player?
