    what is the use of the hdmi cable connected to a dvd& samsung lcd tv..dvd

    player doesnt suport HD/bluray.? I bought a samsung 37 inch series 5 lcd tv with an hdmi input..i already have a philips dvd player with hdmi input...i also got an hdmi cable to connect dvd and the tv...now what exactly could the hdmi cable be used for?my dvd player does not support HD/bluray....

    The HDMI cable is not restricted to HD. It transfers any digital video and audio from one device to another, in this case from your DVD to your TV. Just connect it up and enjoy.
