    Internet Speed Help Please?

Well I got my bro's old computer and it did have a virus. So I wiped the hard drive, let it re-boot, but the internet is really slow. I use a family connection and the signal is full on my router. I have BellSouth as my internet, any suggestions?

Old computer equals low numbered processor, and old video card, old sound card.

wiped the hard drive as in you reformatted it and reinstalled windows?

What is the processor, memory and windows version? If you put Vista on an old P3 - I expect it would be slow.
