My sisters Internet Explorer won't work? Help please?

When I double click on Internet Explorer I get the message:


"The procedure entry point SHRegGetValueW could not be located in the dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll"

Please help! I have uninstalled and re-installed IE and its still not working.

Does anyone have a clue what is going on?

try disarming the firewall?

You might have a virus scan your computer.

Try doing a repair on IE (under 'help').

Also go to support.microsoft.com and enter that error message as a search string.

Or, give up and download Firefox(!)
