Can you mix benedryl and antibiotics?

a coworker is breaking out in hives, hot and cold flashes and is nauseated., he is on antibiotics and believes he's having an allergic reaction to the antibiotics. Can he take benedryl safely until he can go to the doc?
 
yes ab's and antihistamine 2 different things and benadryl is safe and often used in conjunction w/ ab's for allergic/infection issues ie. skin condition
 
.go to er please, he could go into anaphaltic shock from allergic reaction to antibotics

It depends on the antibiotic. Some antibiotics you cannot mix anything with. Call the pharmacy or have him call his doctor.
