Are the Jaguars missing Byron Leftwich yet?

Garrard averages a QB rating in the 60s and got bailed out by a good defense last year.

Do the people that were glad Leftwich got canned miss him yet? Or do you still think Garrard's a better option?

I'd say probably not. Leftwich is riding the oak behind Roethisberger in Pittsburgh.

we need a new qb like tebow in the draft but i believe if garrard makes good decisions we can still make it

Garrard is a solid starter but that whole team just seems to be struggling right now. They are my choice for biggest letdown this year when i thought they could make a push to the Superbowl. But Garrard is not to blame here

completely agree with you on this one...Garrard only looked excellent last season because that Jaguars defense last season was beastly. Now this team is staggering slightly on defense and Garrard is asked to throw some passes down field which he cannot do. They need a QB that can throw some deeper passes.

I see your point guys...Garrard is a far smarter quarterback but he just isn't getting the job done...he is hesitant every time he throws the ball for over 20 yard. teams are starting to figure out his conservative play calling and they don't cover deep because Garrard doesn't have the deep ball. It would be nice if they would have never released Leftwich.
