As one of my christmas prezzies my parents bought me a new phone. A Sony Ericsson W610i. It's a lovely phone and I really like it, but it's locked to the tesco network. In my area there is like no signal anywhere on Tesco. I would also like to keep my old number, on Vodafone. I don't mind paying a fiver or so to have it unlocked at a market somewhere, but, as we found out with my dad's phone, it is possible, and free, to unlock them online, using a code. He had a Nokia 6300. Can I unlock my phone in the same way?
