Cost of scratch repair for a Hyundai Sonata?

I put 3 five inch long scratches on the fender of a lady's burgundy 2005 Hyundai Sonata, two of the scratches are about the width of a toothpick while the other is about the size of a pencil eraser head. She doesn't want to involve the insurance company but I will be paying for her repairs, does anyone have any idea about how much I will be paying? (This happened last night and I haven't told my parents yet so I need to know so I can tell them)

It's hard to say just how much this will cost, body work and paint are pricey. If these are surface scratches (no bare metal) you could try a rubbing compound first. It won't hurt to try.

However, you need to tell your folks, regardless of the cost, the sooner the better.

Unless you did this as a result of foolish behavior, I hope (as a Dad)
they will be understanding, we all make mistakes when were young.

That should cost around $300 to repaint,provided it's a color that is routine.
