Would a small block V-8 fit in a Chevy S-10 Blazer?

if yes, what model should the engine be? if no, explain why.

yes there are kits to do the swap available at:
    summit.com
    Jegs.com

A simple 350 either the old carb style - or even the LT1 can be swapped.

Most ppl do the older V8 so no electornics are needed.

    I have a 1988 S10 with a 383 stroker and a 150 shot of NOS.

I believe it came stock with a V8. If you have the V6 model, a v8 should bolt right on to the original engine mounts. You may have to move some things around, but it should fit with oem parts.

    Hope that helps you.
