using fido sim card on rogers phone?

hi, i gave my rogers prepaid phone to someone and he has a fido sim card and it ask for 8 digit passcode. I can't give him my rogers sim card b/c my info and account is in there. Can he use a new roger sim card and it can work with the old phone when he activate? thanks

Your mobile is locked with rogers network..So no one use that mobile with other sim card..After unlocking you can use either rogers or any other network. This unlocking can be done through codes.
