is a 2006 silverado 1500 4 door truck a good work truck for $12,800?

has a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty with it and about 60,000 miles on the odometer. i paid 0% down and no payments first 3 months.i'm gonna use it for a family and work truck and was wondering your opinions on is it going to be a good choice for the price??
i think it has a 295 in it but it might be a 285
well it holds 58 dollars today at the pumps at 277 a gallon. i drove 26 miles back with it and it never used a quarter tank. not saying it's good but i needed more power to pull trees i clean up in a trailer since all i had was a 89 ranger lol
