It's similar to German so it shouldn't be too hard, but you're kinda limited as far as where you can speak it in the workforce (just Sweden essentially, though Danish / Norwegian are similar it's not the same) Why not focus on those languages you can use worldwide like French, Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, etc?
Well it's mostly only spoken in Sweden but still since you are a part of the EU there is a good chance that you'll be able to use it in your future. From what I've heard it's not so hard and it's also a lot of fun. In addition by learning Swedish you'll be able to understand a good majority of Norwegian and Danish as well, so it's like getting three languages for one.
