my friend wants to marry an internet friend?

my female friend is in love with a man who she met on the internet just over a month ago, last week she told me they planned to marry as they are both very much in love. I want her to be happy but i only feel negative but don't want to tell her she is being silly, what should i do, tell her or keep my mouth shut. as a further note he claims to be Italian but i am not sure of this.

let them be, she can always have a divorce if she wanted too, let her be impulsive and think she is in love.

She needs to be wary - especially if she has money or assets. Many a con man has befriended a desperate woman online only to take them for all they are worth. If he is talking marriage this fast - it is highly likely he wants access to her bank account.

To be honest the internet can be a good thing and a bad thing. I met my husband on the internet, we met 3 days later, and he never left. We lived together for a year and then we got married. We have been married now for 7 years and I have to say he is my soul mate, my best friend, my everything. Oh I have 3 kids too and he is an awesome father to all 3 of them. Good luck

    That's the thing...

He may not even be a MAN.

Or he may be 20 year older than he claims.

BEEN THERE, DONE THAT regarding internet infatuation.

I'd say... same rules apply... meet in real life and date for 18 months.
IF that works... then... get a ring and a date... and wish your friend a happy life.

just Confess to her and tell her that it is very silly for her to marry a person whom you don't even know very well yet.. Don't think that you can hurt her feelings, tell her that it is for her own good, if she marry that internet guy, her future maybe in misery.. As her friends, advice her that true and right things!
