Just recently a Global warming fanatic(who is a director in NASA) changed temperature charts from yearly averages to 5 year "means". He was trying to make it look like global warming is happening. He was upset that new temperature corrections showed that 1998 is not the hottest year in the 1900's. In fact, 1934 was the hottest year.

It's liberal-ese for "I can't refute your point, but it flies against everything I believe is liberal, and therefore, I am no longer validated as a person, so you must be evil for doing that to me."

EDIT: They simply can't STAND it that conservatives give more to charity than liberals traditionally, so every time someone points this out on Y!A, they try to throw as much double talk at it as they can because they think it will make the fact go away.
