Can i still sell my Iphone online?

Ok i bought a iphone 3g. and i got behind on the very first bill. so by the time i pay the first bill. my next bill will be due. and so on and so on. so i would like to sell my iphone online. but can i still do that, while the phone is still under contract. or could i just take out the sim card and sell it on ebay and every thing will be fine . i just don't want someone buying a bad phone.

You can sell it but what do you do with your current contract? As long as the phone is not reported stolen you can sell the iphone minus the sim card.
