    Can you play DVD+Rw on a blue ray hd ?

    I am thinking of getting a blue ray recorder and player, at the moment I have a dvd recorder and player which records films on a DVD+R will the discs play on blue ray play and recorder also I have a selection of D.V.D Films will they play on a blue ray recorder

    Blue Ray is a newer technology than DVD Recorders. They should have backward compatibility and you should be able to play your DVDs on your Blue Ray recorder.

    Btw, Blue Ray recorders are cool

    Yes. Blu-ray is designed to be backward compatible.
