i heard that its legal to unlock your cell phone (http://www.darknet.org.uk/2007/04/legal-... but what does unlocking it really do? do i still need a plan and a provider, or can i just make calls and texts for free? could someone provide me with info on the pros and cons of unlocking a cell phone?
