Can I repair a leaking mercedes radiator?

I have a 99 E 320 with 147k miles with a tiny leak in the cooling system that I was just told is from the radiator. I know there are products sold out there that claim to fix leaking radiators. Does anyone out there know much about this stuff and has used it? I like to think I am not a cheapskate but if I can repair it then why not? I would like to hear from anyone who has done this and what was your experience?
PS: The coolant doesn't leak all the way only enough to trigger the coolant low light. It doesn't overheat or anything at all, even after a 500 mile trip that I just did.
I just filled it up and I figure the light would come on after about two weeks meaning the leak is very tiny..

    Any advice will be appreciated.

Just pour two egg whites into the radiator. When the hot egg white hit the air at the leak it dries in place and plugs it up.
