I DO!!! I was heading in that direction and i just realized... there is no point!! So now i'm just happy with myself. I would much rather be sober and experience life and actually remember everything that happens. I also want to be a good role model for my younger family members. So yes... i do agree with you. And i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one.
