Is it better to buy your hamsters in pairs?

No no no!

They fight, and kill each other, I found out from experience!

You can get them in twos but they have to be from the same litter and they can always turn and get nasty then!

Well if its a syrian hamster (Male) then only get one because if you get two males they often fight.I have two Dwarf hamsters (Female) and they do just fine. It all really depends on the hamster.
