'On a slow boat to China' cover version?

I'm looking for a band/singer who's sung a cover version of this song. The singer is a guy with a sort of a european-ish accent (I could be wrong of course, but he doesn't sound like a Dean Martin or something, the singing style is different, simple but plain)
I heard this particular song while watching the Monique L'huillier F/W 08-09 show on FTV.
Then recently, I saw the Caroline Charles show (spring/summer 09) and I read on this blog that the band was a 'jazz band' , and it sounded like the same voice, I can't be sure, but it was a cover version also.
I've googled, attempted myspace (too much comes up, I'll have to listen to all the cover versions), and gone through thefashionspot.com archives. If anyone has any lead on this, I'd be much obliged.
