    If productive people have to bail out banks, can't we at least make them...

    ...be open on crappy holidays? Like today, where banks get the day off for what? Columbus Day?

    You're right! There ought to be a law! And no less an authority than the Constitution of the United States gives you the right to petition the government for the redress of grievances such as this -- I strongly suggest you do precisely that.

    Ironically however, government offices (as well as the banks) are closed on crappy holidays like this one; so, you'll have to wait until at least tomorrow.

    youre right if its our money saving them they should stay open so that the people who bailed them out can use their services. they also shouldnt lend out bad mortgages.
