Why is Bush supporting Musharaf?

Its because of his support that Musharaf has become a defacto king of Pakistan. Before Musharaf and Bush there was'nt much terrorism in Pakistan. Terrorism in the region has gone up rather then going down. Both Bush and Mush are destroying Pakistan. Example todays death of Benazir Bhutto.
