well body language can tell alot about a person.. asking him might get you the truth but make him uncomfortable with you asking him..

watch him, see if you notice changes in him such as his friends, his clothes, the way he talks.. most straight guys i know dont look at guys and say if they are cute or not... but i did have some gay friends back in a town i lived in.. couldnt stop checking guys out.. its kind of weird if hes straight hes checking out guys... mabe hes trying a new lifestyle, testing the waters so to say..

Does he have female friends? Every married guy I've ever known doesn't have a lot (if any) female friends.

I'm less swayed by the mother observation. "Mom" will always be "mom" If raised well, a 4'6" mom can always dominate her 6'4" son.
