Last week I got a phone from Sprint with a 2 year contract. I hate the phone and many of Sprint’s features. I have about 20 days left to cancel my contract without the early termination fee and I will do it as soon as I purchase my new phone and plan from a different company. When I purchased my phone I had to pay a $100 deposit that the sales rep said would be given back to me after a year. I have a bill for $60 due on the 25th. Here is my question: If I cancel my contract within 30 days, could Sprint use my deposit to pay my bill and then give me back my $40?
