    Hi
i have windows xp and i have a wireless interent conection on my desktop at the moment. I want to connect my xBox to my desktop with an ethernet cable.

When i go on control panel>network connections>my internet connection>properties>advanced, there is only a firewall section and no option for internet sharing????

Connect your ethernet cable from your xbox to your router. You don't have to do anything to your PC.
