Will you listen to me whine about boy troubles for a minute?

There's this guy I've known since I was a kid. When we were in middle school, we "went out" in the only way middle-schoolers can possibly go out. It was awkward and unbearably embarrassing for both of us. We have always had tons in common and had this unbelievable chemistry, without holding a conversation in real-life for more than a few minutes. Now we're both in late high school, still are alike in a bazillion ways, and I'd really like to start up contact in a more effective way. Suggestions?

Go out for something hes out for. If he does play do play. If hes a football player try to be a cheerleader. You guys will talk and if you are as similar as you say you are to him, contact will eventually start up in a more effective way.
