Bell's palsy is not known to be associated with any allergy, such as lactose intolerance. However, lactose-free milk is relatively inexpensive and can't hurt, so if your friend would like to try it, why not?

85% of cases of Bell's palsy cure themselves spontaneously with no treatment at all. The rest can be treated with antiviral medicines. It is thought to be related to viruses, including herpes. My mom's doctor told her that since she got it at the same time as a case of shingles, it might even be related to childhood chickenpox.

It makes no difference at all. Few managements actually help, even the use of steroids has waxed and wained in popularity among doctors over the years. (it is in at the moment.) often treatment ends up being electrical stimulation and physiotherapy.
