    " The target of this Internet Shortcut is not valid" P.S. where is the

    internet shortcut property sheet in Win? I would like to know how to validate the internet short cut in my Windows xp.

    You don't need to validate it... I always said some error messages were confusing!! lol

    They are saying "not valid" as in not true or correct. Target means where the shortcut is meant to go to. For example, I could have a shortcut that leads to http://fake_fake_fake.com and because there's no such place, it would be an invalid target.

    As to the property sheet, I think you must mean this:
    -- Open Internet Explorer.
    -- Click on Tools.
    -- Click on Internet Options.
