My Son wants to text A LOT, he also wants to surf the internet some with this phone....what's the best data plan for this??

Do I need to get him the MEdia Net pkg with this phone? I'm confused...

Please, if you have this phone, let me know what features and data plans are your favs. I appreciate any input all of you have, I want to stretch our dollars....I've cancelled our home long distance plan so we can put the bucks into our cellulars instead.
