The Sim card is only going to work for the phone that it was designed for. For example, if you bought a cingular phone, you can remove that Sim card and place it into any other cingular phone and it'll work. However, you can not take a Sim card and put it into a t-mobile and get service. In order to do that, you must take the phone and Sim card to a dealer to have changes made to your phone in order for the Sim card to work. the cost alone wouldn't be worth it.

I guess your mobile phone is restricted by some network. So only it's not accept your Cingular sim.If you need to put your Cingular Sim card, try to unlock your phone. You can unlock your Motorola Razor mobile phone using network unlock code. It's one of the best and secure way to unlock your mobile. You can get an unlock code from your service provider or else try to buy an unlock code from any one of the online unlocking service provider like Unlocking4u.com Here you can unlock your phone within a day.I hope it will be very useful to you.
