How to get free ringtone with telus?

is there a way to get a free ringtone iwth telus?
like record music and download it on my phone?
i have the LG chocolate atm

I know this sucks but as stated in the sticky you can't get them to work without hacking your phone.

I used bitpim, it works just fine, I wouldn't say that the phone is hacked either, no files are deleted or modified. The only trick is that once it finds a phone CDMA, you then go back and switch to your model. At least you get to see the ringtone directory and drag and drop.

You used the only way that I know of to get the free tones to work. The problem is that if you have to send your phone for a warranty repair you must remove the free tones so that the tech doesn't see them in the ringtone file while your phone is being worked on. Using Bitpim is considered a hack when it comes to warranty work.

I have no idea if it is free or not. The issue is that you can't set the files as ringtones on a TELUS phone without hacking the phones software first.
