What's the difference between Wine and Beer ? And What's the difference...

...between Red Wine and White Wine ? Well basicaly i don't drink but starting in a few coming days.. But the first thing that matters is that I don't know about drinking.. plz people help me understanding the terms "Beer", "Wine" ?? red wine and white wine ? And Which of these causes sleepiness ? And which is good in Taste and which is less harmfull...
