    1999 nissan maxima starting problem?

hey my car would not sometimes since i had a sound system n i thought i drained the battery. after giving the car a jump it would start, without it only the electricity would turn on and i was able to put the car into gear, but no spark for the engine to start. i changed the battery, couple days later it happened again, now the car starts whenever it feels like. what should i do? how do i fix it? thank you

sounds like a bad alternator. If the Alternator doesn't work, the battery won't charge and you can't start the car.
