...looks exactly like who hooked them up? In high school?
heh, yeah there are probably hundreds of time paradox related problems with those movies.
But there was a BTF marathon on the other weekend, and those movies are still damn good.
Don't bother trying to figure out time paradox...while you're at it, try to figure out whether or not John Connor would still exist if he never sent Kyle Reese back.
Makes your brain hurt.
it is a movie, but i think is was... what, 20, 25 years? do you remeber anyone from that long ago?
Dude, 30 years went by. If they still remember that then damn!
30 years had passed... think about it, you are nearly 50, and your high school had a "new kid" for a week; you aren't likely to remember him.
Because that memory would have faded over time as they watched their son grow from a baby to the "Calvin Klien" look alike. Had he not been their son and walked in out of the blue one day, it may have triggered the memory, but even though Marty went right back to 1985, his parents still had the 17-18 years of raising him since birth, so no shock memory or sudden realization.
The timeline was restored, and Marty returned to the original timeline, not the alternate timeline.
In the alternate timeline (not shown in the movies) his parents have nervous breakdowns!
Maybe by the time he's grown in the 80's, they've forgotten that their son looked like that guy. But I've wondered that myself.
