    is it possible to write a 5.3GB video file(HD) on a 4.7GB DVD disc?

    Is there any way to do this? Its a HD video and i want to keep it that way...or should i split it on half or .....donno. Any help will be appreciated!

    no. split it or encode it into a different format.

    What do you think the answer would be? Can you fit 50 gallons of fuel in a 20 gallon tank?

    i think reduce the video size and then it will automatically reduce to size and then u can fit

    You could burn the file on a dual layer DVD disk, that would work. Or you could split the file into two parts with a good file splitting program or if you just want to store it you could make an image out of it and it should compress to less than 4 GB in size.
