    i want to play my stereo speakers through my tv, i have audio inputs on...

    ...the stereo, and audio inputs on my tv? my tv has two sets of audio plug ins, but its not working for me, any tips on how I can do this?

    The way you worded the question confuses me. If you are trying to get your stereo to play through the speakers of your TV, then you need to connect the audio output of your stereo to the audio input of your TV. Then you have to use the TV remote to select a different input. It might be LINE 1 or AUX.
