i have found some for mac, but i need one for windows.
and is my only other option downgrading for now?

is there a program to unlock an first gen iphone updated to 2.1 that is for windows?

I am not aware of any such unlock programs.My advice is do not rely on such programs as most of it is scam and may make the phone useless.I suggest you can approach Wickedunlock.com and specify the country,locked network of iPhone.Based on the availability you can get the permanent remote unlock service along with free instructions.
