You went to a church you have no idea what it is? You did no research? Wow, you could've walked into a devils den. Even the devil can make something appear appealing.

Nazarene is a Christian denomination. However, just like all religions, is it based on nothing more than man made doctrines created to control the people to serve their pagan doctrines, laws and rituals.

It appears to teach biblical principals, but like the majority evangelical religions, it makes merchandise of its church and is concern more about numbers of people in attendance.

Jesus threw the money changers out of the temple just for that reason.

Joh 2:14 And he found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
Joh 2:15 and he made a scourge of cords, and cast all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables;
Joh 2:16 and to them that sold the doves he said, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house a house of merchandise.

This is exactly what the Nazarene do. They sell merchandise to keep you coming and have coffee shops and all sorts of promotional programs. It is a corporation... not a ministry that teaches sound biblical doctrines. You probably like it cause it pleases your eyes and flesh, but it isn't doing anything for your soul.

Jesus gave us the guidelines for a true church, and it is nothing that resembles a CORPORATION.

Here's what Jesus gave to the church as gifts:

Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended on high, he led captivity captive, And gave gifts unto men.

Eph 4:11 And he gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
Eph 4:12 for the perfecting of the saints, unto the work of ministering, unto the building up of the body of Christ:
Eph 4:13 till we all attain unto the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a fullgrown man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph 4:14 that we may be no longer children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error;
Eph 4:15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, even Christ;

However, here's what you have walked into with the Nazarene:

2Pe 2:1 But there were false prophets among the people, as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly put forward wrong teachings for your destruction, even turning away from the Lord who gave himself for them; whose destruction will come quickly, and they themselves will be the cause of it.
2Pe 2:2 And a great number will go with them in their evil ways, through whom the true way will have a bad name.
2Pe 2:3 And in their desire for profit they will come to you with words of deceit, like traders doing business in souls: whose punishment has been ready for a long time and their destruction is watching for them.
